When you are accused of a crime, whether in State, Federal or Tribal Court, choosing the right advocate is essential.  Experience Matters.  

When you are accused of a crime, it is critical that you know your rights and that you exercise your rights.   

 

  • You have the right to remain silent.  

  • Exercise your right to remain silent.  Politely decline to make any statements to law enforcement.  Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

  • You have the right to an attorney and to have your attorney present with you while you are questioned.

  • Exercise your right to an attorney.  Be sure the attorney you choose has the experience required.  Make sure you do not speak to law enforcement without your attorney being present.
