Accused of a Crime?
When you are accused of a crime, whether in State, Federal or Tribal Court, choosing the right advocate is essential. Experience Matters.
When you are accused of a crime, it is critical that you know your rights and that you exercise your rights.
• You have the right to remain silent.
Exercise your right to remain silent. Politely decline to make any statements to law enforcement. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
• You have the right to an attorney and to have your attorney present with you while you are questioned.
• Exercise your right to an attorney. Be sure the attorney you choose has the experience required. Make sure you do not speak to law enforcement without your attorney being present.
